John Groves

John is a Seattle , WA native and was born on June 19, 1974 . He has been playing trombone since age 10. Groves earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Central Washington University with focused study in the areas of trombone performance and music education. His performance experiences vary from solo, orchestra, jazz band, Dixieland, brass ensembles, and more. John also performs with his own jazz combo and as a freelance musician in the Pacific Northwest . He enjoys his weekly private instruction schedule teaching young musicians through adults of all ability levels on trombone, low brass and didgeridoo.
